La consigna de este proyecto fue diseñar una superficie de apoyo asociada conceptualmente a un artista plástico, atravesando por un proceso de transición conceptual excluyendo la literalidad.
The motto of this project was to design a supporting surface conceptually associated with a plastic artist, going through a process of conceptual transition excluding literality.
The plastic artist studied in this case was Mondongo. It is a collective of artists working together since 1999, currently composed by Juliana Laffitte (Buenos Aires, 1974) and Manuel Mendanha (Buenos Aires, 1976).

Muchas de sus obras son tridimensionales, utilizando técnicas de escultura y montaje para crear piezas que sobresalen del plano tradicional de la pintura. El grupo emplea una técnica meticulosa y detallada en la creación de sus obras, utilizando pequeños elementos o piezas para formar imágenes complejas y elaboradas a través del uso innovador de materiales no convencionales en el arte, como alimentos, juguetes, objetos cotidianos y textiles.

En base a eso elaboramos una definición de superficie de apoyo que aplica unicamente para Mondongo. En su caso sería "arte funcional", más allá de sostener objetos, se basa en una expresión por sí misma. Su funcionalidad se convierte en lienzos tridimensionales donde se pueden ver composiciones visuales complejas, texturas, formas y colores que reflejan la estética distintiva convirtiéndose en una pieza central en el espacio interior que invita a la interacción y la contemplación.
Uso específico: Estimular la imaginación y la creatividad de quienes las utilizan, convirtiéndolo en una experiencia visualmente estimulante y emocionante que invite al debate de opiniones.

Based on that, we developed a definition of support area that applies only to Mondongo. In his case it would be "functional art", in addition to holding objects, it is based on an expression for itself. Functionality becomes three-dimensional canvases where you can see complex visual compositions, textures, shapes and colors that reflect the distinctive aesthetics becoming a central piece in the interior space that invites interaction and contemplation.
Specific Use: To stimulate the imagination and creativity of those who use them, making it a visually stimulating and exciting experience that invites the discussion of opinions.

Glass reflects the transparency of her thoughts and concerns, showing the freedom with which she expresses herself.
The support of the table, depicted as a hammer, reflects the innocence and purity of childhood. The way in which she questions the reality that surrounds us at such a young age highlights the potential of youth to seek positive change in society.
Wool material demonstrates each of the ideas that come out of her head, literally and metaphorically speaking, and is composed of many black threads that reflect her wrapped thoughts to reformulate a main one.
